Profile
Chris is an expert in patent law about which he lectures at University of Warsaw. He handles patent prosecution & invalidation proceedings. He is also involved in patent litigation where he masterminds technical argumentation for clients.
He has strong scientific credentials, confirmed by a PhD degree in chemistry supported by experience in lab & clinical trials. He is a long standing member of Polish Chemical Society and ex-board member of one of its sections. Simultaneously, he adopts a business oriented approach which is valued by clients.
Highlights of professional experience include:
- patent revocation proceedings in the area of pharma, chemistry, and mechanics,
- patent prosecution proceedings relating to second medical use inventions which include plausibility matters,
- SPC prosecution cases in the Polish Patent Office concerning second medical use and functional claims.
Chris advises clients from sectors such as pharma, chemistry, energy, and IT.
